For the transport soundtrack

I usually stream Pandora through my phone during transports because of the curated stations I've painstakingly invested in.
Classical music and jazz are good, reliable genres to soothe the listener. Recently, it seems John Denver radio has become my go-to/favorite soundtrack for these trips. The songs are generally mellow and melodic which doesn't stress my passengers. They also tend to be upbeat and fun to sing along with which keeps the driver (me) alert and awake. Recently, while "Take Me Home, Country Roads" was playing I was inspired to brainstorm a travel themed playlist.

I think whenever I hear song(s) particularly suited to a transport trip, I'll note them as I do below. Perhaps one day I'll create a dedicated mix out of this collection.

For the transport soundtrack:
Ramblin' Man - The Allman Brothers Band
Roam - B-52's
Going Up the Country - Canned Heat
I've Been Everywhere - Johnny Cash
Life is a Highway - Tom Cochrane
Travelin' Band - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver
Midnight Train to Georgia - Gladys Knight & the Pips
On the Road Again - Willie Nelson
Road Trippin' - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Send Me On My Way - Rusted Root
Homeward Bound - Simon & Garfunkel
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynryd Skynyrd

**honorable mention**
Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen
It's not about travelling or going anywhere but it is one of my all-time favorite songs and I could listen to it on a loop.
